• Go to a networking reception: these are specifically designed for informal mingling. Grab a drink and introduce yourself!
• Don't over-schedule: leave some breathing room to explore, follow up on conversations, or just recharge.

This is often the biggest concern for first-timers! Here are some easy tips:

• Wear your badge: it's your instant conversation starter.
• Sit next to someone new: in sessions, turn to the person next to you and say, "Hi, is this your first Realize LIVE too?" or "What brought you to this session?"
• Ask open-ended questions: instead of "What do you do?", try "What's the biggest challenge you're hoping to solve at Realize LIVE?" or "What's been your favorite session so far?"
• Visit booths in the Solutions Center: engaging with exhibitors is a natural way to meet people.
• Join the first-timers welcome: on day one we have a dedicated session for those attending Realize LIVE for the first time.
• Join a guided tour: There are "first-timer" tours that help break the ice.
• Try out our facilitated peer-to-peer networking - 'Braindate' - embedded in the Realize LIVE app

It's true, the agenda at Realize LIVE Americas is packed with incredible content! Here's our top tip for first-timers:

• Identify your top 3-5 Goals: what do you most want to learn or achieve? (e.g., "Solve a specific software problem," "Understand a new technology," "Connect with other users in my industry.")
• Use the event app (Available after registration and four weeks before the event): this will be your best friend! Once the agenda is live, use the app's filters to find sessions by topic, product, or industry that align with your goals.
• Visit our Concierge team on site who can guide you through the catalog or chat to our AI-Avatar who can dive deep to find the exact session to match your requirement.
• Mix it up: don't just stick to sessions! Schedule time for the Innovation Hub (for hands-on demos), the Community Corner (for networking), and the Solutions Center which covers our entire portfolio, with customer showcases and industry and product experts on hand.
• Have a backup plan: sessions can fill up! Star a few alternatives for each time slot.

• Dress code: business casual is perfect. Think comfortable shoes – you'll be doing a lot of walking.
• Essentials: your fully charged phone (and a portable charger) and a notebook/pen for ideas.
• Layers: conference rooms can be unpredictable, so a light jacket or sweater is always a good idea.
