By registering for Realize LIVE Europe 2025 in Amsterdam (“Event”), you (“Participant” or “you”) agree to these and any other terms referenced herein (“Event Terms”).
The Event is organized by Siemens Industry Software Netherlands B.V. (“Siemens" or “we”). You agree that Siemens AG or companies directly or indirectly owned or controlled by Siemens AG may exercise Siemens’ rights and fulfill Siemens’ obligations.
1. Registration and payment
The registration fee is listed on the Event website and covers only the benefits included in the chosen Event package. All other expenses, such as travel and accommodations, are the Participant’s responsibility. Prices exclude taxes and fees, which the Participant agrees to pay.
Participants will pay all registration fees and any other applicable fees online through our third-party payment provider. Additional terms and conditions may apply to those payments.
Your registration will be confirmed once Siemens has received your payment. If you do not obtain a confirmation, please contact Siemens using the method stated in the Contact section below. If your payment isn’t completed, your spot may be released and Siemens may refuse entry to the Event.
2. Participation guidelines
When attending the Event, you agree be respectful and professional to everyone, including fellow attendees, speakers, and staff. You will comply with applicable laws and follow the Event rules including any reasonable instructions you receive at the Event. We may remove anyone for inappropriate behavior or otherwise violating these Event Terms without a refund.
3. Liability
Siemens’ and its affiliates’ liability for all claims under these Event Terms is limited to the total price paid for registration to the Event.
Any claims by Participant will be excluded after 2 years from the date of the event giving rise to the claim.
Even if foreseeable, Siemens and its affiliates will never be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of production, interruption of operations, loss of use, contractual claims of third parties, loss of revenue, profits, capital and interest, or anticipated savings.
These limitations and exclusions will not apply to the extent liability and cannot be limited or excluded according to applicable law, for example in case of personal injury and death.
4. Use of content
All presentations, materials, and other content provided in the connection with the Event are owned by us, our partners, or the speakers. They are provided for your personal use only. Copying or commercial use is prohibited, except as permitted by law.
5. Use of data
During your registration and participation of the Event, Siemens and its partners may collect, process, and use your personal data (such as name, contact details, hotel/travel requests) to facilitate the Event. Your badge acts as a virtual business card and is encoded with the personal data you provided during registration. You may opt-in to having your badge equipped with beacon technology that eliminates the need to verify your attendance, simplifies the count process, enhances your visitor experience and allows Siemens to gather data to improve future meetings.
By attending, you agree that Siemens (or third parties on behalf of Siemens) may record the Event and any person at the Event by any means including photo, film, video, audio, live or simultaneous broadcast, or digital stream (“Recordings”). We may store, edit, and use the Recordings in original or edited form, without territorial or time limits, for business purposes across all known or future media (including internet, social media, TV, print, posters). We may also grant necessary use rights to third parties for these purposes.
By attending, you grant Siemens the right to use any personal data you provide (such as name, likeness, voice, and biographical information) in connection with the Recordings to the extent and for the purposes stated above. No additional permissions or payments will be required, and you waive any right to remuneration and any rights regarding the Recordings or any copies.
These Recordings and any personal data may be collected, processed and used in the above-stated way and form and for the above-stated purposes. Further information as to the processing of personal data can be found at www.siemens.com/privacy.
6. Event changes
We may make changes to the schedule, speakers, or other aspects of the Event. We will inform you of any major changes, but these do not entitle you to a refund or compensation.
7. Cancellations
We may cancel the Event for any reason, including insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances such as circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, terrorism, strikes, or other force majeure events). In such cases, we may reschedule the Event, offer you a credit for future events, or provide a full refund.
You may cancel by submitting your request via email as detailed in the Contact section below. If you cancel at least 60 days before the Event, we will refund the full registration fee. If you cancel 30-59 days before the Event, we will refund 50% of the fee. If you cancel less than 30 days of the Event, there will be no refund.
8. Export compliance
Siemens' obligations are subject to any national or international trade, customs, embargo, or sanction restrictions. You agree to comply with all applicable national and international export and re-export control regulations.
9. Applicable law
These Event Terms will be governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding choice-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Zurich, Switzerland.
10. Entire agreement
Regarding its subject matter, these Event Terms are the entire agreement and supersede all prior agreements. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties. In case of conflict, the English version will prevail. If we provide a translation of the English version of these Event Terms, the English version Terms will control in case of a conflict.
